My garage door jammed on a loose rail connection and bent the rails outward beyond my ability to repair. Precision Garage Door sent Kris out, who was very knowledgable and professional, explained all my options, and made great recommendations. Initially, it looked like we would need to replace the vertical rails, which I agreed to, but after actually starting the work, Kris found that he was able to bend the original rails back into place and secure them safely. I did at his suggestion have the rollers replaced, as they were old, did not roll very smoothly, and were too short (the rollers slipping out caused part of the problem with the original jam). I was very impressed with his work, especially that he found and suggested a less expensive solution after I had already agreed to the more expensive one. They may have gotten a bigger windfall the first way, but the second way they gained a customer for life.

Kris did an excellent job of explaining all of the mechanisms in the entire unit and fixed the problem quickly, as well as showing me how and where to lubricate all hinges. I will definitely ask for him if any future problems. I also asked about replacements for both the motor and door itself. He sent an email showing options, and my husband and I will be considering these in the next few months.

Two new garage doors were installed on Dec 8 by Jay Garcia. Everything was working great when he left. Some how over the weekend one door could not open or close from my car. The office set up Kris to reprogram my car.. the job before me took longer than expected. Kris call several times to keep me informed. Upon arrival he checked the complete system before starting to program my car. After programming my car everything work great again. By calling to keep me informed on his time table really made me feel good. Great service and great tech's.

I would tell others to NEVER use Precision Door Service! I learned a hard lesson by using your services the first time in October. I should have gotten a second opinion, but I was sick with bronchitis and just wanted the door problem fixed. I now understand that your technicians work at least partly on a commission basis. Thank goodness, I didn't choose the other two options that were offered to me for repairs. After getting a second opinion, it appears that the main problem was with the garage door motor, NOT the door, so I basically spent, unnecessarily, almost $700. I was "at your mercy," just as it is when women bring our cars in for repairs. So, all that to say, I am VERY displeased with the work that was done in October by Jeremy Wright. I think he did unnecessary repairs, rather than looking more closely at the motor and simply replacing it. I will suggest to anyone that they NEVER use Precision Doors. What a rip off!!!!!!! Thanks for nothing.

KRIS WAS VERY NICE AND HE KNEW WHAT HIS WAS DOING. TOOK HIM NO TIME TO INSPECT THE DOOR AND LET ME KNOW WHAT WAS NEEDED TO GET IT WORKING ONCE AGAIN. HE GAVE A COUPLE OF OPTIONS ON THE REPAIR.
