If the garage door is closing and there is a person, pet or object beneath the door in the opening of the garage door, the safety eyes send a signal to the opener to reverse and return to the open position to avoid injury.
Safety Reversal: If at any point the garage door strikes something as it is closing, it will automatically reverse and return to the open position. This feature ensures that the door doesn’t continue to put pressure on the item it has come in contact with, and reverses to stop damage or harm.
